Our Attainment 8 score has risen to 48.06, up from 45.01 in 2025 and 43.42 in 2024 showing the increase in the average achievement of pupils across 8 key GCSE subjects including English, Maths, Sciences.
A record 45% of students secured a grade 5 or above (‘strong passes’) in English and Maths this year, compared with 42% in 2025.
Furthermore, 22% of students achieved a grade 5 or above in every subject they studied, a substantial increase from 13% last year.
At the highest levels of attainment, 9% of the year group, achieved grade 7 or above in all of their subjects.
These results highlight the impact of the school’s relentless focus on high expectations, ambition and our commitment to ensuring that every student has a life of choice and opportunity.
This sustained upward trajectory shows the exceptional achievements made by students and the unwavering commitment of our staff to ensuring every young person achieves their full potential.
